The C1108 is an RF power tetrode with a maximum anode rating of 125 Watts dissipation. The design operating frequency is in the VHF spectrum between 120 and 200 MHz. A class C PA can generate 375 Watts.

The wide glass tube envelope is 60 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5F base pins, is 108 mm tall.
