Science and Construction Skills Rock

In most parts of the world, it is easy to see how huge a role science and construction have on society. Although they may at first seem to be two different fields, construction relies heavily on scientific knowledge. Residential homes, high rises, bridges and overpasses, dams, and a multitude of other structures are all possible courtesy of how science is used to ensure that they are sturdy and safe. The science of a building, for example, takes the characteristics of materials into consideration. It looks at issues such as durability and the potential for corrosion or rot. Science also helps determines how gravity, moisture, and heat will impact a structure. Kids and young adults who take an interest in science and construction open up the door to a world of knowledge and skills that not only rock but they may also result in the creation of future structures that impress and benefit society in the future.
