Unknown G8LSD Valve Collection Other CV51 exhibits

The CV51 was based on the M-OV experimental type E1320. The Y65 is the M-OV commercial version.

The target voltage range is 180 to 250 Volts, and the control range on the grid is 11 Volts change.

The reverse lettering 41P51.

The triode voltage amplifier below the display. The triode anode connects to the deflection electrode within the bowl.

The bowl: the helix around the cathode prolongs the life of the display. The centre cap just hides the central assembly.

The classic envelope is 38 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins, is 92 mm tall.
