The CV1060 is a transmitting and audio beam tetrode, the classic 807 modified slightly to meet the UK Government specification and renamed 8018.
The exhibit arrived in the original wrapping with the paper sticker giving it as a CV1060.
The actual valve is an RCA 8018 which is an exact match to the original VT60 design.
RCA Radiotron on the base cap
The control grid winding is visible above the lower mica and the screen grid wire can be seen below the top mica.
The classic envelope is 51 mm in diameter, and excluding the UX5 base pins is 126 mm tall.
