This exhibit is of a 'flawless' UV-199 made by General Electric for RCA.
The data-sheet states that the UV199 is a hard vacuum triode for use as an amplifier or detector. It features a thoriated tungsten filament.
The base cap with the Type designation pressed-in and filled with white paint.
The base and the four short solid pins for inserting into the bayonet valve holder. The wording is - Licensed only to extent indicated on carton.
Illuminated by the filament the vertical electrodes and pinch are revealed.

The wide glass tube envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, excluding the UV base pins, is 77 mm tall.
