The CV4108 is a special quality double triode. It is built to withstand operation in environments of shock and vibration, typically in aircraft and industry. Designed to operate under cut-off conditions for long periods it is also useful for logic circuits as well as AF and RF applications.The prototype was the 7308 which is a direct equivalent to the E188CC.The KB/D identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the D identifies the maker as Mullard Radio Valve Co., Mitcham.
