The CV1862 (commercially the 6AQ5) is a an audio output beam tetrode.The CV1862 was rated as being able to produce 4.5 Watts of audio in a single ended circuit. In design terms it is the 6V6 on a B7G base and that is a great deal of heat to dissipate from a small envelope.
The reverse carries the 6AQ5 Type designation.The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G base pins is 59 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet. |
