The 12AU6 is an RF pentode for use up to 50 MHz. Apart from the heater all characteristics are the same as the 6AU6.
The GE logo.
Through the holes in the end wall of the anode all three wire grids can be seen.
Under the green print is the original lettering. The control and screen grids are both wound on copper supports.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and excluding the B7G base pins the valve is 47 mm tall.
