The 6BU8 is a specialist AGC and sync separator for television receiver use. There is a common cathode, control grid and screen grid but two independent suppressor grids and anodes.
The 3BU8 is designed for 600 mA heater chains and runs at 3.15 Volts. The 4BU8 is for 450 mA heater chains and has a voltage rating of 4.2 Volts.
The AWV logo and Radiotron.
The pair of anodes, one each side, screen the inner components.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 59 mm tall.
