CV1586

Sensibly equivalent to:
CV1130 HL23

Extras ▼

The CV1586 is a receiver triode and the prototype was the Mazda HL23.
This STC made exhibit also has the commercial HL23 on the reverse. It is unusual to find a MO base on a product not made by Mazda. Clearly it happens in this case as the MO base was listed in the Government CV specification issued to all makers.
The K /F identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006 and the /F identifies the maker as STC, Paignton.
The classic envelope is 33 mm in diameter and, excluding the MO base pins, is 95 mm tall.
