The CV8020 is another EF91 type valve. The development is from the 6AM6 or Z77.This exhibit has a double top mica and probably a double lower mica as well and so the CV4014 is a close match. We could not find a CV8020 data-sheet.
The silver internal coating is present to suppress the effect of electron bombardment on the glass releasing gas molecules and shortening the valve's life.The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 45 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1040. |
