The CV1192 (commercially the M-OV Z62) is an indirectly heated HF pentode. The old service codes were the Navy NR79 and Army ARP21. This exhibit also carries the NR79 designation.
The maker's code 41P62.
Here the rectangular cathode can be seen together with the wire grids. As a screened pentode the top mica is covered with a screening plate.
The classic envelope is 30 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 72 mm tall.
