The CV2027 is a CV1832 retro fitted with tapes welded to the original pins.
The valve is a cold cathode voltage stabiliser and electrically identical to the commercial OA2.
The mean voltage stabilised is 150 Volts. Between the 5 mA minimum current and 30 mA maximum current the voltage regulation is 6 Volts. The striking voltage is 185 Volts.
The KB/G identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the G identifies the maker as Ericsson, Beeston.
The original CV1832 has been painted through.
The PTFE disk holds the new tapes including the false spigot.
The construction has an outer cathode cylinder and a central rod anode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter, and excluding the B7G/F base tapes, is 58 mm tall.
