The CV9026 (commercially the DK96) is a dry battery frequency changer that was designed for broadcast radio receivers.
The Mullard logo and Made in Western Germany on the other side.
The many wire grids are just visible.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 47 mm tall.
