The CV2001 is an EF91 with flying leads for direct soldering into equipment.
The CV2001 is a high gain, high impedance, high slope, screened pentode primarily intended for use as RF amplifiers or mixers.
The KB/AD identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the AD identifies the maker as Brimar - Thorn-AEI, Rochester.
The PTFE ring holding the false spigot and the tapes welded to the original pins.
The central band is an internal coating used to suppress the release of gas from the glass when bombarded by electrons.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins and leads, is 48 mm tall.
