The Mazda is a pair of signal diodes separated by an internal electrostatic screen. The design is for series heater use on 100 mA heater chains. This would indicate a use in radio or small television sets.

The screen is given added rigidity by the X pressed into the thin sheet.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
