The NL-760 design is a quick heating thyratron designed for welding control, motor control and regulated rectifier applications. The L suffix on this version is for the spade connections rather than the base pins of the NL-760.
The conducting medium is a mixture of gas and mercury vapour.
The spade connections are in two rows. This can be seen to be hand assembled by the clamp around the pinch stem.
The filament wires are stranded.
The dish anode. The metal cylinder below has what looks like a graphite top. This top cylinder has multiple holes facing the anode.
The base with space connections.
The wide glass tube envelope is 63 mm in diameter, and excluding the base spades is 213 mm tall.
