The 6080WA is a series pass valve much used in professional equipment for stabilised power supplies. The 6080 family had four variants 6080, 6080WA, 6080WB and 6080WC.The basic 6080 has single mica discs. For a longer life when subjected to vibration the mica discs are doubled as in this case. This is the nature of the speciality quality W suffix.
