LF407 exhibit
Extras ▼

The LF407 dates to 1928 and does not feature in the 1929 Mazda valve list. The box is pasteboard with a printed paper outer layer. Inside there are card supports that have holes of the correct diameter to secure either the dome or the base. The pins are at the top to allow for a continuity check to be made with the valve still in the carton. This box shows the point in time when BTH acquired the Mazda brand and before the 1928 merger that formed AEI led to the valve manufacture and Mazda brand being transferred to Ediswan. BTH thereafter concentrated on equipment.Note that the price printed on the carton is 12/6 but the price label shows 10/6. The box is 68 mm square and 135 mm tall.
