The box is 58 mm square and 155 mm long. The valve was held in place by a corrugated card wrap covered by a paper sheet. This inner wrapping then had another corrugated card outer to fill the box. This barretter had never been unwrapped before I photographed it. The carton probably dates to the 1930s or 40s.
