The box is 47 mm square and 125 mm long. The valve is retained by shaped end pieces and an inner square sleeve of corrugated cardboard. The end pieces are fixed but allow the valve to be tested whilst still in the carton. Opening the box will tear the card making it obvious that the box has been opened.
