The VP4C was made in England by the Hungarian Tungsram company. VP4C is a variable μ RF pentode for broadcast receivers and dates to 1938.
The original VP4 was a Mullard/Philips design from the early 1930s.
The classic envelope is 43 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7 base pins, is 112 mm tall.
