This directly heated pentode from Cossor has lost its identification label. The etching on the top of the envelope gives the makers name plus a 10 and V5 but does not include the type designation of this valve. The style suggests 1930s. and the C embossed in the anode would identify it as Cossor even without further markings.The classic envelope is 48 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5 base pins, is 113 mm tall.Reference: Observation. |
