This small CRT is fitted with a loctal base but unlike other tubes of this one inch type the front of the tube is domed and not flat or nearly flat. It is probably similar to the 1CP1 and designed for use as a transmitter monitor rather than for use in an oscilloscope.
The construction is basic rather than the precise form of the 1CP1.
The electron gun is on the left, the focus anode in the centre and the Y plates at the right side. The X plates are obscured by the Aquadag (colloidal graphite) coating.
The viewing screen.
The end window envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8B base pins is 84 mm tall.
Reference: Observation.
