The 329 is a barretter or current stabiliser for use on heater chains to reduce the switch-on surge and consequent damage to heaters. This barretter has three pins and a centre tapped filament.
The single strand iron wire is looped over the support hooks that are mounted on the central glass stem. The wire is held by being clamped into a fold of the support rods.The wide glass tube envelope is 33 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 96 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet. |
