This display tube uses ten shaped anodes, each shaped as a digit from 0 to 9. The gas discharge around the chosen anode indicates the value chosen.

The normal operating voltage for such displays is in the order of 150 Volts.

The end window envelope is 29 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 25 mm long.
