This experimental disc seal UHF triode closely resembles the successful DET29 subsequently produced.The heater is connected by the flying leads. The cylindrical connections are then:- cathode, grid and anode. The valve would be operated within a co-axial cavity for best results and highest frequency of operation.The planar envelope is 12 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 55 mm tall.Reference: Observation.
