SU2150

Extras ▼

The SU2150 is the EHT rectifier from Cossor. The SU2150 has a higher voltage and lower current than the SU2150A classic HT rectifier.
The 'top hat' anode connector on this valve makes it a later production than the SU2150A referenced above. This suggests that the two valves existed side by side during the 1930's.
The effective series resistance needs to be 100,000 Ω and the reservoir capacitor is limited to 0.25 μF.
The saddle shaped anode and oxide coated rod cathode made the Cossor EHT rectifiers the most reliable.
The classic envelope is - mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is - mm tall.
References: 1040 & 1043. Type SU2150 was first introduced in 1937. See also 1937 adverts.
