The 9BW6 has the same characteristics as the 6BW6 with a 9 Volt 0.3 Amp heater making it suitable for use on television heater chains. As an audio output valve it delivers a significant 5.5 Watts at 12% distortion. The cathode resistor should be 360 Ohms.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 60 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1040.
