This photocell looks to be a specialist component. The anode encircles the envelope and has a rectangular window cut into it to allow light in. Running vertically down this window are three fine wires. The cold cathode is semi-circular and fits inside the anode and its coating appears pale blue. When looking into the window the cathode fills the field of view.
The side window envelope is 34 mm in diameter and is 92 mm tall.
Reference: Observation.
