The 8165/4-65A is a directly heated radial-beam VHF power tetrode with an anode dissipation of 65 Watts.
The filament is thoriated tungsten and designed for rapid heating - described as instant in the data sheet.
The danger warning.
The five pin base with the evacuation pip in the centre.
The filament is helical, the control grid cage is made of thin wires and the screen grid is formed from thicker wire.
The wide glass tube envelope is 51 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 95 mm tall.
