The EZ2 is a full wave rectifier designed for use in car radios.
The two small anodes stacked vertically on the common cathode.
The red lettering gives the Mullard name and the EZ2. On the base it states that this was made in Holland - by Philips in Eindhoven. Most Philips/Mullard Ct8 valves seem to have been made on the continent. Ct8 based valves were never popular with UK set makers.
A closer view of the anodes.
The classic envelope is 34 mm in diameter, and excluding the Ct8 base pins is 78 mm tall.
