The DR2000 from RCA is described as a Numitron and is a seven segment hex indicator. Each segment is made from a length of wire and is basically a light bulb.
The wire filaments can be seen attached to the pins that are set in the back plate.
Face view. The pins exist for the decimal point but no filament is added in the DR2000. The decimal point is active in the other versions of this display tube.
The supports and base connections.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 40 mm tall.
