The Cossor DVS-Pen is a vari_μ RF pentode from 1933 designed for receivers in areas where DC mains was the only choice and thus series heater chains were required. For AC mains sets the MVS-Pen was the alternative.
The straight version was the DS/Pen.
The reverse is plain.
The balloon envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5 base pins, is 127 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet, & 1043. Type DVS-Pen was first introduced in 1933. See also 1933 adverts.
