The Cossor DVS-Pen is a vari_μ RF pentode from 1933 designed for receivers in areas where DC mains was the only choice and thus series heater chains were required. For AC mains sets the MVS-Pen was the alternative.The DVS-Pen is unusual in having the screen grid taken to the top cap.
