This is a mystery. It looks like a small corona voltage stabiliser. The ceramic insulators suggest high voltage. I tested it with up to 400 volts through a high value resistor but that voltage was too low to see any stabilising.
LCT - is this the maker? The thin glass tube envelope is 9 mm in diameter and, excluding the base wires, is 43 mm tall.References: Observation. |
