The 6GM6 is described as a semi-remote cut-off pentode. The limited vari-μ characteristic was designed for picture IF amplification at 40 MHz in TV receivers.
The RCA brand.
The anode is constructed as a pair of plates connected by a strap. The grids are not easy to see and the suppressor grid is close wound indicating that it can be used as an auxiliary control.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
