The Type designation is etched into the dome of the glass envelope. The anodes are made of black mesh. Each anode has a pair of oxide coated ribbon filaments providing four surfaces for emission.
The filament tension springs are held in the horizontal glass rod.
The balloon glass tube envelope is 60 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 124 mm tall.
