The EF12 is a pentode designed for RF or IF amplification at HF or MF. Also the data-sheet gives details for its use as an AF amplifier.
The footless construction uses a glass disc rather than a pinch.
The shaped pins of the footless base.
The base with spigot and locating ridge.
The wide metal tube envelope is 36 mm in diameter, and excluding the footless base pins is 35 mm tall.
