E2345

Extras ▼

The E2345 is an experimental valve from M-OV. On test the heater was found to be 6.3 Volts at 0.3 Amp. The only doubt with the connections is with pin 3 where it is not possible to see if a screen or fifth grid is connected to the cathode.
The nearest M-OV production valve is the X719 (ECH81 equivalent) but dimensions differ and the X719 has a mesh outer shield.
The cathode is common to the mixer at the bottom and the triode at the top. The triode anode is a box open at the side.
The grid supports above the second mica.
The triode grid and anode connect to the pins by the long leads seen on the left.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 48 mm tall.
Reference: Observation.
