It is clear from the internal structure that the 3K4 is a full wave rectifier for small appliances. The identical anodes are mounted around the central cathode tube.The dome carries the 3K4 and the number 495, there is no other information on the glass and no information has been found - suggesting that the actual Type designation may not be 3K4.
The two anodes are mounted at right angles, one facing up and the other facing down.
