Mullard Valves Donated by Chris Huggett Other UB41 exhibits

The UB41 is a double diode typically used for signal detection and similar applications. This Mullard exhibit was made in the UK.

Looking through the screen, a small lower dark patch and two side getter holder supports can be seen.

Here the image resolves into a pair of diodes and a centre screen.

The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8A base pins is 53 mm tall.
