The El183 is a television video output valve with an anode dissipation of 6 Watts.
SB-Elektronik was a Dutch firm from the lettering on the inside of the top flap of the box.
The screen grid has copper supports and a large radiator fin at the top. The build is as a beam tetrode.
The screen grid windings are shaped to pass flat across the face of the anode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 59 mm tall.
