The DY51 is an EHT rectifier designed as a replacement for use in portable television receivers. The newer Mullard logo indicates that this was still being made in 1970.
The bell anode, oxide coated cathode tube and the insulated heater leads can be seen in this image.
The thin glass tube envelope is 14 mm in diameter, and excluding the base wires is 51 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 3002. Type DY51 was first introduced in 1964. See also 1964 adverts.
