The UF86 is the 100 mA heater version of the standard early stage audio pre-amplifier valve the EF86. Only the heater at 12.6 Volts and 100 mA is different.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 48 mm tall. Type UF86 was first introduced in 1960.
