A correct name for this base could not be found and as it is six pin and designed in Germany we have called it the De6.
This base was a development of the acorn base and the Bakelite support removed the risk of the glass cracking as the valve was inserted while keeping the low capacitance of the acorn. This base was developed in Germany around 1939 for military valves. Most of these valves were made by Telefunken.
As with all base diagrams the view is looking towards the pins.
