This collection of about 70 valves was donated by David Dale in 2016. The valves were collected by the late Les French who David worked with in a car radio company in the 1960s. David was an apprentice when he worked with Les and believes that Les was a radio technician in the RAF during WWII.

Some of the collection has been photographed to replace poor quality images/valves from the early days of the museum.
