Amalgamated Wireless Valve Co. Ltd. was set up by the Directors of AWA in April 1932 to acquire the licenses from RCA of America, International General electric, Westinghouse & AWA to manufacture and sell valves in Australia.
In the mid to late 1930bs AWV also manufactured the standard range of receiving tubes available in the period for Ken-Rad USA and the Osram brand, not including octal based types, for British General Electric Co Pty Ltd.
