The new Mullard valve pack, Kradlepak, has won an award from the Institute of Packaging.
A slight modification has been made to the original design of the outer carton of the pack. The locking strip on the tongue of the top flap has been redesigned to assist opening. It is recommended that the outer carton is opened as shown in the two photographs. Above, top opening - one of the chief features of the Mullard Kradlepak, no fumbling with end flaps. Once open, the valve is immediately accessible as is shown below.
The first reference to Kradlepak we have seen was in the October 14, 1966 edition of Electrical & Electronic Trader.
