The 807 HF transmitter valve from Atlas Cove looks to be from RCA.
We have a valve in our Australian Antarctic Division Heritage Collection that was retrieved from Atlas Cove at Heard Island (southern Indian Ocean) where the Australians maintained a presence continuously between 1947 & 1955.
After 1955, our presence was intermittent, but the old station remained until the majority was removed in 2000/01 due to its poor state of repair.
It was a this time the valve was returned to our collection in Tasmania, Australia.
