T1154 used PT15 in the PA
Sir Christopher Cockerell was head of Avonics at the Marconi Co until 1951 when he left to invent the Hovercraft. In his time he was responsible for the R1155 Receiver/ T1154 transmitter for Bomber Command, a project that needed about 16,000 valves a month!
